Driver Hospitalized After Striking Trees On Route 287: Njsp

A driver was hospitalized after they struck several trees on Route 287 in Morris County on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 17, authorities said.

At 4:52 a.m., a Honda Odyessy was traveling northbound on Route 287 in Montville Township when it lost directional control, veered off the right side of the roadway and struck trees, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
